Functionality list for the Ipod Video?
This is what one person thinks Apple will give us with the Ipod Video Plus, I think it's a dream list but it's anyones guess.
• Display is a widescreen-type LCD with a resolution of 480 x 272, 16M colors
• 2 capacities will be available - 40gb ($ 449) and 80gb ($ 599)
• Plays h.264, MPEG-2, and MPEG-4 videos up to DVD (720x480) resolution• Video output quality is greatly improved over the iPod
• Has an IR port compatible with the Apple Remote that ships with iMacs
• Battery life will be around 5-6 hours for video, 18-20 hours for audio (screen off)
• Main menu will be much like Apple's Front Row application• Comes with a full version of Quicktime Pro for making and converting videos
• Comes with an AC adapter & basic video cable
• A dock and upgraded video cables will be available as accessories• Does not have line-in video recording capability
